Inpatient Services

Physicians may order Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and/or Wound Care Services as part of the patient’s recovery process. After a physician’s order is received, patients are evaluated to determine their physical status and functional ability. Following the evaluation, a treatment plan of care is established with patient and family involvement. Patient treatment is based upon the patient’s status, pre-morbid (before disease) level of function, anticipated discharge setting and the established treatment plan of care. The therapists work closely with other multidisciplinary professionals to help the patient achieve their highest outcome levels.
